Description:
Rare Poole Pottery pair of chargers celebrating the 600th anniversary of the Montacute Charter granted to the town of Poole in 1371. Thrown by Guy Sydenham and and decorated by Tony Morris, both cyphers can be seen on the reverse of both plates. Framed certificate confirms that these are numbered 4 in an edition limit of just 25. Each is 27cms across. Lot also includes two treacle glaze pin dishes also celebrating the Montacute Charter produced by the little known about 'K Studio' Pottery, Poole at around the same time
